Requirements:
Full or partial sun. Moist, well drained soils.
Localities:
Common throughout Maroondah and the Shire of Yarra Ranges.

Its striking form makes it useful in many landscaping situations.  Fast growing, vigorous grass.  Can cut back or de-thatch with a metal rake after seeding to encourage new growth.  Bird seed and butterfly foliage provider.
