Full sun through to full shade. Moist well drained soils. Localities:
Quite widespread, found in Maroondah, Manningham and the Shire of Yarra Ranges$2.50
Plant for interest or in pots. Easily grown. Dies back to a tuber over the dry summer period. Can form large colonies in ideal conditions. Tubers of orchids were eaten by the aborigines.
