Requirements:
Full sun through to full shade. Wet through to slightly dry soil.
Localities:
Relatively common in Maroondah Manningham and the Shire of Yarra Ranges.

Attractive open shrub.  Bird seed provider.  Butterfly nectar provider.  Prickly foliage provides refuge for small birds and animals.  Can be used as a low screen if pruned regularly to encourage bushiness.
